FAQ's

Experience

1. No experience is required to join, only a willingness to bring effort and focus onto the mat to improve.

2. The club services wrestlers from 5-14yrs old, with some exceptions based on parental involvement.  See bylaws for a more strict set of age guidelines.

Registrations

1. Day 1 Requirement - Signed liability waiver, paper copy, received from Attendance Table at practice. (only required if club registration incomplete)

2. Day 1 Requirement - Limited Folkstyle USA Wrestling Card - Can be found at https://www.usawmembership.com/login

3. Start of 2nd week of Practice Requirement - Completion of Club Registration - Can be found using the top navigation bar.

Gear

1. Indoor exercise clothing - fitted tee and shorts

2. Wrestling Shoes - If trying wrestling for the first time, the club has select sizes available to be utilized during trial period.

3. Water Bottle

Behavior

1. Positive Attitude - Wrestling is tough enough, there's no reason to come to practice to be negative.

2. Willingness to Try - It is regularly stated within the wrestling room that there is no requirement for perfection, however that your wrestler is expected to try.

Setup/Cleanup

1. We do not practice in any facility that has a dedicated wrestling room.  As such, we must roll out and clean the mats prior to each practice, and roll up and store the mats at the end of each practice.

Tournament Roster (WLGWL or Spring Season ONLY) - For the spring season a roster of wrestlers must be submitted to the league prior to competitions starting.  League fees are included within registration, unless joining the league late (after first tournament in early March).

Gear

1. Singlet

   1. ORWAY - Any variety singlet is permissible.

   2. WLGWL - An RBWC or RHS singlet is required to compete.

2. Headgear - Not Required - Optional to compete/practice in to protect ears from damage.

Is volunteership required?

1. Yes.  This club exists only thanks to a host of volunteers.

What volunteering is required?

1. Table Help

   • Depending on Tournament Organizer, RBWC will need to operate mat side score tables at events.

2. Bomber Beatdown Established 2025

   • RBWC Sponsored WLGWL wrestling tournament that operates in March.

     1. From setup to teardown and everything in between.  The only way this event runs seamlessly is by wrestler and parental involvement.
